I applied for an Edgars account online and got an sms to notify me that it has been approved. Went to the Edgars in Bellville during my lunch time to obtain my card. The agent/consultant that helped me did not even introduce herself, she took my id and went online, later she went back to make a copy of my id and came back with the copy and not my ID. Another agent came to the front to ask who's ID this is and she took it. A colleage stood next to her and they were chatting to each other in Xhosa which i find very disrespectfull towards me as a client. she gave me a statement which i signed and informed me to buy something small inorder to activate the account, i asked if i can do this an another store and was told that i must do it now at the one i came to. I went to go fetch something stood in the line got back to her only to be told that someone had to go to jet to scan something of mine as they have a problem i was then told to wait on the side as the person will be back now. waited 15 minutes, she does not even keep me informed. i had to ask her where this person is as my lunch time is running out. i left which she then tells me i can activate at another store. very bad service
