I have had a C-track unit in my BMW for just over 2 years and to be honest, I do not think that it has ever worked.
Every time i phone them they inform me that the unit is faulty and that someone will contact me to resolve it, still waiting. Its quite pathetic as should my car get it will have no tracking device. Poor service.
