When I bought my car one year ago from Forsdicks Sandton it came with a C-track unit as this was the preferred tracking service of that dealership.
One week after driving my car off the dealership the C-track unit was not reporting, went back to the dealership where I spoke to the ctrack representative; she said they replaced it as the unit was faulty.
One month later same problem: unit stops reporting and get a SMS saying to contact C-track as my car has not reported in 48 hours and that C-track will not be able to assist me in an emergency.
Called Ctrack Roodeport and they came after 2 weeks to fix this and put in a new unit!
3 month later get the same SMS and called them to fix this as I am fed up with shoddy product and service, this time they came promptly and replaced the unit again.
2 months later get the same SMS again, this time the technician replaced the unit and also had to replace the SIM as apparently MTN had cancelled the SIM card in the unit due to!
Today, I get the same SMS!!!
Frankly I am fed up with the sub standard units that C-Track uses and would not recommend them to anyone not even their worst enemy.
