I bought a coupon on Groupon for full day spa for 2 people incl 8 x 1 hour treatments plus a light lunch at the Health Hydro Spa in Boksburg. No taps (running water) and no products or equipment displayed just 2 treatment beds in the room. They had no electricity & being near the airport the sound of aeroplanes about to land in our treatment room did not lead to any relaxation at all. The therapists had to run in & out of the room to get water & were panicking when they realized there was no hot water left. The facial included exfoliation with a body exfoliator which caused a large breakout & redness. Wrong products used for every treatment. The therapist covered my face for a few minutes with a really hot towel where I battled to breathe as there were no holes for nose or mouth. Each treatment was not an hour long. The therapists were clearly not trained at all & it was such a traumatising and disappointing spa experience.. We decided to leave halfway through. I complained to the manager & she did offer for me to come back another time. I will never go back due to the initial experience & because it didnt seem she very sorry. There has been no communication to apologise.
