I had a query regarding my electricity bill as below on 27 August 2013:
Billiing since Constantia Metering took over from Impact Meter:
December2012-R455.33
January2013-R1 400.00 (This include the deposit)
February2013-R305.29
March2013-R333.12
April2013-R457.00
May2012-R611.55
June2013-R600.00
July2013-R752.00
August2013-R812.40 (Not yet paid)

I requested Constantia Metering to provide me with a detailed reading statement for the period December 2012 to August 2013 with the price per unit charged every month as I am sure it increased but don't belief it was that dreastically increased.

Then yesterday 16/09/2013 I received a warning/reminder letter to pay within 7 days from date issued 11/09/2013, which I didn't aggree to receive should I forget to pay, charged at R128.40 that will be added to my next bill from complex security guard by hand and not even in an envalope. Which is unacceptable and unethical business practice. Up until today I still haven't received any correspondance regarding my query.

I would like access to my meter so I can do readings every month for my record. Should Constantia Metering provide me with relevant proof, I will be happy to pay the account.
