I called was charged a R 120.00 for being sent a warning letter when i had paid my account on time. i used an incorrect reference number. the money was in constantia meterings account. i called in and sent proof of payment that was not allocated, i sent it twice with no response until i called in and explained but was not assisted, i requested to speak to the supervisor who was rude and told me i can complain until i am pink in the face, but the rules say because the letter was delivered i will have to pay even if the money was sitting in their account before the due date. i proceeded to tell the lady that i am black and even if i wanted to i would never go pink in the face. i am appaulled by the level of service you get from constantia metering. i was speaking to the supervisor who was not trying to help me instead, she was rude and not helpful. she said if if dont pay the R 120.00 it will accumulate and eventually my lights will be switched off.
