Disabled person refused exchange of wrong bed

I bought the 'luxury' Simmons bed for R20 000 having been assured by Queens in Pretoria that this would be the best bed for me. After 3 nights I realized that the mattress was too soft for me such that my limited body strength prevented me from being able to role over independently. After a few hours the bed would reduce my circulation and wake me with cramps, pins and needles etc which could have permanent health consequences to my limbs as I am also diabetic. I went back to Queens after a week and asked if I could exchange for the cheaper (R5000 cheaper) harder Superior Firm mattress - i wanted no cash back just a mattress I could live without serious health issues. Queens refused to help and past the buck to Simmons. Simmons made an effort to come and talk about, but it took a further 2 weeks for the to come to the conclusion that they couldn't help. Don't get me wrong - the bed Is a wonderful luxury bed, but it just doesn't suit my disability. My fault but I just wish their had been more flexibility and compassion to my unique circumstances by both Simmons and Queens to swap for a more suitable mattress in 1st week. Now I am stuck with it whatever health consequences there may
