Momentum does not pay hospital bills

We treated a child in the hospital for a PMB condition where the Dr said that the child must be admitted and treated for her chest. The medical aid refused to give authorisation stating they wanted a clinical history from the Dr before providing authorisation. We sent through the clinical history and now they say they never received it and that we must also send through the road to health chart. There is always some excuse as to why they are not going to pay. They make us jump through hoops before they will even consider paying us for a job that has already been done. We take an oath when we qualify that we will treat the sick. The medical aid is refusing to pay, they are not the Doctors or physios who are treating the sick and should not be the ones making the calls to pay or not pay. The members are tkaing out medical aid to cover them in time of need when they are being admitted into hospital for something that needs to be admitted into hospital. This account needs to be paid in full and authorisation should have been given.
