Have medical aid, hospital plan with discovery, DR admitted husband into hospital, Discovery wont give authorization due to wanting to check on history report that will take upto 2-3 days. Husband got chest pains we made numerous calls to medical aid and they still not wanting to give authorization as they wanna investigate, if something happens to him now we have to first wait for 2-3 days for medical aid to get backto us, we been billed by doctors now because he has been running up & down getting help as medical aid now taking there own time..We very disspointed in the matter how Discovery is handeling this matter..Please help! Dr says hubby cannot go to work as he needs to be admitted into hospital..So why paying medical aid and they cant help us..I spend hours on the phone with discovery but all they say we have to wait till its done..We pay lotsa money on medical aid they did not check history when accepting out monthly contribution. Need Help as my husband needs to go in hospital.
