Hi. My mum was admitted by a doctor on saturday. Hospital couldnt get Pre-Authorisation as they were closed. Hospital admitted my mum because of her condition. 06/01/2014 Hospital phoned medical aid and medical aid was so relaxed and had a dont care attitude. its the first time my mum has been admitted. hospital has stopped treatment until medical aids approves. medical aid does not care about the person but instead needs all forms filled before they can sort anything out. Medical aid needs to realise that they are dealing with a persons life. medical aid was taken out in sept 2013. im not sure where the problem is. waiting period is over plus medical aid said there is no waiting period. thank you momentum for making a sick person even more sick. please can someone help sort this out so that my mum can go for her ultra sound and get better.
