De-activation of Gym Membership

I have had my gym membership since 2004. I get an email monthly reminding me of how many times I need to go to maintain the contract. I went 4 times last month. Now I call vitality today and they tell me that I have to go 10 times before the 31st Oct. And it's already the 29th Oct. I have been using the gym at my company (Alexander Forbes) which has a device where I punch in my details and get vitality points, but this does not go towards the visits apparently. I do not have the time to go online and check the visits every day and really appreciated those reminders via email. I'm not sure what determines the sending of those emails. I didn't receive one this month. Now I'm told that my gym contract will be de-activated by 31st Oct. I didn't know that the visits fall away after a 12 month rolling period. I know it's a courtesy to get those mails, but it actually helps your members. I have a 17 month old baby and am basically a single parent, my husband works away from home, so it's difficult to maintain. Things have changed and I have help, so I can go more often now. Please can you assist to keep my membership open.
