Discovery has kicked me out of the free gym membership program which I have had for a few years already. They keep sending you reminders of how many times you have to go to gym (they do not have to do this), but when you default, whether you were in control of your situation or not they kick you out. Now lets understand this, they are in their rights since they will tell you that you have signed the contract that states you will visit the gym X amount of time in a rolling 12 month period. It used to be 2 times a month and they changed it to 3 times last year I think. So I must have signed a contract that stated they can change things as they please??? Anyway, I went onto an oil rig and was supposed to be back in 2 weeks and just so happened to be over 4 weeks. During this time I was out of satellite range and we did not have comms with the outside world. So I could not inform them that I would not be able to make the visits that month, neither would it have mattered according to them. I would have been in breach anyways and they would cancel the benefit. They don't have the same deal with Virgin so need people to start paying I'm sure? Too many depts, no good help. They cant fix!
