Instead of looking at overall health: look at gym

I have been a member of Discovery Vitality for 10 years. I have had the gym membership with Virgin Active for the same amount of time. Not once having had my gym membership discontinued due to lack of attendence.
Last year mid year I fell pregnant and was told by my gynae to avoid exercise. I had already been to the gym over 12 times that year and as such did not think that there would be any issue with the vitality attendance of 12x a year. Follwing my delivery and emergency c-section I contacted vitality explaining that I could still not attened gym as I had had major surgery and if I needed to do anything so that my status the gym does not become discontinued. I was told the conditions of the membership had changed and I had to attened 24 times in a yearly cycle. After 10 years the conditions changed? But not to worry I have the year to make them up.
After this I began receiveing emails that I must attened 16x for the month and 12x the follwoin month? In May I contacted the centre asking if I had enough visits and was told I had enough. I then received an email saying my membership was cancelled... but I still had to attend in june? I am within normal weight with good health it ca
