My Vitality Gym Benefit was canceled earlier this year due to an unfortunate administration error on the Discovery side, but they realized this and reactivated it from the start of August 2013.

Vitality have a core policy that you need to visit the gym 36 times in a rolling month which translates to 3 times a month. In the month of August I was able to visit the gym 6 times, and in September I have been more than 7 times.

I have been informed via multiple channels and multiple times, that this effort was not good enough and my benefit has been suspended until I reactivate at an (of course) higher fee. I vehemently disagree.

Vitality validly cancel the gym benefit of people that do not use it. I clearly have been using it, more times than are required in their core policy. The fact that they have now suspended it due to an unattainable goal for me in August, is very poor and stinks of a shocking attitude towards customers. If I had not met my minimum goal of 3 visits in the month, I would understand if they said that this member is not using he gym benefit effectively, so lets suspend it, but not for the reason mentioned.
