Vitality changes rules without notifying members

I have been a member with Discovery Vitality for a number of years and have met all criteria of attending the gym a minimun of 24 times for a 12 month rolling period. I attended gym 28 times for the rolling period ended August 2013. I was obviously shocked when I received a phone call to say that I had my gym membership cancelled as I had not attended 36 times. When asked why I had not been notified I was told that I had been sent an email to an old address that I have not used. I find it quite weird that They were able to pick up the phone to tell me that the membership had been cancelled but did not have the decency to pick up the phone or send a letter to say that the rules had changed. I am disapointed with the dishonest approach of Discovery
