I have a medical aid for my son that is 9 months old with spectramed. i wanted to change my bank details with them as i pay for the medical aid. i waited 5 days for a response. the response i got today (27/09/2013) is as follow: " A consent letter is required from the member in order for you to do enquiries on the member's behalf."
can they not see that the member is only 9 months old!! how in the world will he ever be able to send them a letter. also the debit order is due to go off on the 1st and only now they giving hassle changing my details. they take money from me, i pay them why should it be such a hassle to change banking details. i gave them all the relevant documents ID, Bank statement, letter from bank copy of my sons birth certificate etc. what more do they need. when the do the debit order and it gets reversed they wanna complain. very very very bad service.
