First National Battery
New Faulty battery ignored to avoid replacing

A battery purchased from Battery centre in Midrand let us down on numerous occasions and it was purchased on 09/04/2012 and let us down from November that year. It was tested at Battery centre in Randburg twice and at another Battery Centre locally. These centers obviously did not want to replace a battery that was still under guarantee as they stated that the battery was good in each case. It delayed us leaving for our holiday to Sondela and again dropped us at Bella Bella where we had no option but to go to Hi Q who stated that this battery was no longer serviceable, but yet was still under guarantee. We had to replace it there as we were on holiday with a caravan on tow and the car is an automatic. Hi Q replaced the battery (638) with a 643 at cost of R795 as opposed to the cost of your battery at R1333.06. I believe Battery Centre should make a large contribution to the new one due to their lack of expertise in analysis of the problem and trouble that we experienced.
