I used E-car Benoni (in Northmead) to repair my car. Firstly the receptionist of this place called me with a price, when I collected the car (which was promised to me & was LATE) the amount was MORE. WHen I questioned this she said yes but this is the VAT Inc PRICE. NEVER DID SHE MENTION TO ME THAT THE AMOUNT QUOTED WAS VAT EXCL. If this was the case I would have gone elsewhere as it put them as the most expensive quote. All the receptionist said was we can do the job for you at R4200.00! BEWARE!
The company van which I sent to them took ages to be returned to me, the following day i had to send someone there to collect the van as they kept promising me they would deliver the van & we kept on waiting and waiting!!
2 weeks later my startermotor wouldnt work, after another 5k quote, I took the van elsewhere the other Mechanic instructed me that parts had not been put back correctly &this had caused my starter motor to rattle LOOSE.
I contacted them &their complaining of the BAD SERVICE & lack of responsibility and NO REPLY OR NO APOLOGY.I am in business myself and do not believe this centre will last. When I was collecting my car 2 other people came in complaining BEWARE!
