BMW ARC giving smart insurance bad reputation

I have sustained a dent and scratch on my left front fender and left front bumper (respectively). i went to Club Motors for a quatation as instructed by Smart insurance. smart insurance is the policy that you buy when purchasing a new BMW to cover for dents and scatches and i always find the repair centres not keen to help people with this policy and always insisting that we use our comprehensive insurance to cover for damages that BMW CARE AND COSMETICS can fix. this is not the first instance i have with the ARC. I work in the automotive industry myself and am clued up on the repair processes and requirements thereof. what me off is that i work for BMW SOUTH AFRICA and NISSAN SOUTH AFRICAN as an OEM TECHNICAL CONSULTANT then i'm being told of by people who supposed to be working on my minor dents that its not fixable and the fender has to be replaced? i see dents and scratches everyfday of my life and the get fixed. the Estimator (Barend) and the workshop manager gave me nothing but bad customer service and bad stinking attitude, was told that they wont work on the dent because their panel beater will have to spend time fixing it, i mean what am i paying for?
