I have taken up Smart Insurance policy for small scratches and Dents, when I logged a claim in December for all the small scratches and one Dent on my car I was told to go to certain panel beaters. I went there & submitted 1st Quote, they said it's over the limit of R2 500. I went & submitted second quote for the Bumper, of which currently Mettalic Paints are very expensive, for Paint only it's more than R2 500 per panel, so at that Panel beater they told me this policy actually can cover me for my Bumpers only, I submitted the quote for front bumper which was R2 395, they still reject it, they are saying the quote is incomplete, they require whole car's inspection, of which it'll be more than R2 500 & they were still going to reject the claim. They ended up telling me I should have claimed on as when I see the scratches. I told them that's so ridiculous, I can't be going in & out to the panel beaters whenever I see a scratch on my car, but what will happen when I arrive at the Panel beater there's another Dent on the other side, they'll both be more than R2500.
Its so useless and currently I want my car to be fixed as I have been paying Premium. Though I have cancelled Policy
