Vehicle rented via JCH - Just Car Hire - Tempest

We rented a Car through Just Car Hire and chose Tempest. How much we regret this! Our booking was done from 3/1/2014 8h00 - 8/1/2014 11h00 AM. We requested to return the vehicle on 8/1 by 11h00 and we therefore paid for 6 days. We collected 3/1 after 8h00 AM and we returned the vehicle 8/1 just after 9h00 AM. Which means we were well within the booked time. As per Verenique as well from JCH we paid for 6 days, which tells me that we could have actually only returned the car 9/1 at 8h00 AM but we did not. It was a day before. Now Tempest is refusing to pay our deposit back as they claim we have returned the vehicle a day too late! JCH logged a complaint with them, however we are not receiving any assistance. Our second problem is that the car was bumped in a parking while we were not present. We went to the police station as there was no note or witnesses. We informed Tempest immediately. We applied for the Super Insurance when we rented and paid quite a lot for that. We were then charged the full invoice amount and extra (which is quite a lot of money for a minor dent) irrespective of the insurance. What was the point of paying so much for the best insurance plan? Please help
