We arrived at the airport and selected Budget car rental due to the Diner's Club discount. The person who assisted us (whose name we've unfortunately forgotten) was friendly and efficient and addressed us by name. He was really genuine and made us feel welcome and important. When we returned the car two days later he saw us walking by and gave us a cheerful wave as if we were old friends. Whilst this sort of service should be the norm, one seldom encounters someone who appears to take pleasure in serving their customers.
The employee who took receipt of the vehicle upon our return was equally friendly. Budget must be doing something right. We'll definitely use them again!
