I am a regular client, hiring a vehicle every week for the past three months. Each time a security deposit (no problem) is taken, but, getting the deposit released is impossible. Current situation: I hired a car between 28-01 Nov and again between 5-8 November. The issue is they have two deposits and despite my calls and emails my deposit has not been released.
This has happened before and only after reporting this to hello peter do i get a response.
For the record, on returning my car (25 Oct) one smart and helpful Avis employee organised the release of the deposit on the same day. So it can be done.
