On 7th August 2013 a holding deposit of R2 099 was put on my card by AVIS when the vehicle was taken out. I returned a rental car to AVIS on 16th August 2013. I received an SMS confirming the return on the same day.
I called the Call Centre on 21st August to enquire as to when the deposit would be released and the operator said he would action it with Nedbank immediately.
I checked my credit card this morning and the holding deposit has not been reversed by AVIS. I then sent an email to their customer service department this morning and have not received a response or feedback.
Please can someone investigate why this has not been sorted out?
