I hired a vehicle from Avis on 21-22 December 2013, and to this day I have not received my deposit back. This is highly unacceptable. When I hired the car I was told that the refunds takes a few days to be refunded. When I phoned early January I was then told it will take 30 working days. If this is the case clients should be notified when they sign for the vehicles. Needless to say I am very disappointed with Avis. I have hired cars from Thrifty and have never had these kinds of hassles. Avis I did not expect this from what I thought was a reputable car hire.
