Had a car from avis due to an accident. Insurance gave me a courtesy car from Avis that i had to pay R750 deposit for upon pick up. Had the car for a month and dropped off on the 9th August 2013. Asked about my deposit and the attendant told me that it will be refunded to me in a day. Asked @ the front desk again and they said 7 days. It has now been over a month and no deposit refunded. I called accounts (10/09/2013) and the lady said that they captured the deposit incorrectly at OR Tambo and she will query whats the problem. I have not heard anything as yet.
I sometimes wonder how companies like this tend to do things that they do on a everyday basis incorrectly??
If i had owed them R750 i would be getting calls, sms, emails etc from them daily.
