I returned a vehicle I had hired from Avis car hire on 19 September 2013. Today is the 18 October 2013 and I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded into my bank account. I have called their call centre 6 times already and they keep referring to a refund that was deposited into my account in January this year which was for a different car hire. My family have always been loyal to AVIS due to their hassle free way of doing business. This loyalty has surely been tested this time. I am not sure if we will be hiring vehicles from them in the future.
