I walked into this branch on Friday 5 minutes before closing time, having to send a package urgently to my daughter in Potchefstroom. With a smile Esther helped me get the package into the system and assured me it will be in Potch by Tuesday no later than 12:00. Because it was weekend, I thought this was not going to happen and I kept an eye on the tracking system. I kept phoning her and not once was she rude, just smiling (I could hear it over the phone) and assuring me the package is safe. Well, Tuesday morning even before opening time, the package was in Potchefstroom and the moment that branch opened, they tried to phone my daughter, but must have misread the number and Esther phoned me to make sure of the number - again very friendly. The number was correct but I could let my daughter know the package is there and she can fetch it. Which other company would go to all this trouble? Some would just send the package back even though the information was correct and maybe they read a number incorrectly.
Again, thank you Esther for all your help, patience and friendliness. These days it is very scares. Postnet should have a compliments section on their own website!
