2 Weeks ago I send a package via postnet to my Boyfriends mother in Namibia
The package included a ring and 3 envelopes. One with the insurance papers, and two letters
When his mother just now received the package she asked what should be inside as it looks like the back had been open and selotaped back closed!!! I told her and she said that from looking at it she could see that there was no ring but she is not opening it as the selotape has clear fingerprints on it and she will be going back to the post office tomorrow.
I will also be returning to my post office tomorrow and wil be asking a few questions myself. I will not rest until everything that was in the package is in my or my boyfriends mothers hands!!!
I think it is unacceptable that you cannot even send out a package now a days without having to put it in a steel box... but then you would get charge up to the dollar for its weight!!!
