I bought a brand new Volkswagen Polo 1.6TDi, end of April 2013 but it had a faulty gearbox. After fighting for 3 months, they replace the vehicle in July. The replacement vehicle was also faulty! The car jumps up and down when you drive. I took it to the dealership for repairs and after having it for two days I got it back and it was still not fixed and it had two new problems. It was pulling to the side and the handbrake is loose. I insisted that I want a refund, because this is my second faulty vehicle and they were unable to fix it. Geo Nel the dealership principal told me that if I don't want them to fix the vehicle I should go to the onbudsman! I contacted Volkswagen SA and they asked me to take the vehicle back to the dealership on the 28 Aug 2012, so that they can get a report on what is wrong of the vehicle. They gave me a Polo Vivo entry level courtesy car with not a drop of petrol in the car! This is the worst vehicle I've ever driven! The dealership confirmed the 3 faults on the vehicle but after having it for 9 days now, they still cannot find what is causing it. I am struggling every day to get feedback. I am now paying for a vehicle that I don't even have anymore!
