I bought a brand new Volkswagen Polo 1.6TDi, end of Apr but it had a faulty gearbox. After fighting for 3 months, they replace the vehicle in July. The replacement vehicle was also faulty! The car jumps up and down when you drive. I took it to the dealership for repairs and after having it for two days I got it back and it was still not fixed and it had two new problems. It was pulling to the side and the handbrake is loose. I insisted that I want a refund, because this is my 2nd faulty vehicle and they were unable to fix it. Geo Nel the dealership principal told me that if I don't want them to fix the vehicle I should go to the onbudsman! I e-mailed Volkswagen SA and a lady called Joe phoned me, and asked me to take the vehicle back to the dealership so that they can get a report on what is wrong of the vehicle. Without the report they cannot decide what action they will take. The dealership confirmed the 3 faults on the vehicle but after having it for 9 days now, they still cannot find what is causing it, which is none of my concern! I am struggling every day to get feedback from Joe, she does not return my calls and is never available. I am now paying for a vehicle I don't have anymore!
