I opened a FNB Gold Cheque account. I got word that the card will be delivered in the next 7 days. This was done on 15 May 2013. Then i got an sms from the courier service stating that the card will be delivered on the 27th of May 2013. After i spent the whole day in office and not receiving any feedback or card, I called the call center. After this i received a sms that my card will be delivered today 29 May 2013. No one can give me any indication when the card will be delivered. I can not sit and wait around (as my work entails going out and go see clients). This is really bad service from FNB. I was told when taking out this account, i can start transacting soonest, I had to open an account at Capitecbank just to receive my salary. FNB, your couriers are unreliable and does not keep your clients updated. Can't you see the amount of people complaining? If i knew this would happen, i would have gone to Absa an probably have my Card and account functional by now.
