I opened my account on 12/11/2013 over the telephone with a very helpful FNB consultant. I was promised I would receive my platinum cheque card within 3 day. When I call on 19/11/2013 to enquire about this card I was informed that the card will only be ordered on that day. I was promised again delivery would occur within 3 day. Monday I called and it was confirmed I would receive my card today 27/11/2013. I received numerous sms's from CCD promising the card will be delivered today and what document I should have. When it became 14:00 I called the CCD head office to find out at what time I can expect the card I was informed a call centre agent would call me from Bloemfontein. To my utter disgust when the lady did call I was informed that my card will not be delivered today and that they can only deliver on Monday after informing them is unacceptable I was promised a delivery tomorrow. When I called the FNB call centre I was advised a consultant will call be back and that I will receive this card today still. Now an hour later I am still waiting. Is this the manner FNB treats their clients. I am considering cancel this account for this is too much hassle.
