Ok. So I pre-paid for a car hire from 1-13 may R2631.01
I returned my car earlier on 4 may at the stellenbosch office where it was told that my total hire was R945 and the difference of R1686, 01 will be paid back to me. No prob.

Then I hired a car on the 11 may at Oudtshoorn avis, where they wrongly deducted R1797, 91 (the hire was only R1022, 11) but more than that they double deducted that R1797, 91.

This made my account go into a negative, and caused me great humilation at a supermarket when I tried to pay for groceries.

I contacted Avis, spesifically Nicholas at Oudtshoorn, Regan at Stellenbosch and Pamela at customer care,
They reversed ONLY ONE of the wrong R1797, 91 amounts, and recharged the R1022, 11

Today i asked whenthe remainder of the money will be paid, and they told me that Avis will NOT refund me the double charged amount, nor the pre paid difference amount of R1686, 01.

I also still need my fuel deposit of R994 charged at CPT international to be refunded, also no news of that.
They did however regunded my R2000 deposit paid at Oudtshoorn.

I am very very very upset with the way Avis has handled the situation and their communication with me.
