As part of my Insurance with Mutual and Federal, I get car hire as part of my cover, so when my car was in for repairs at the panelbeaters, I naturally excercised this option. This part of the cover is via Carsurance, and they promptly arranged for the vehicle. As part of the policy, I was required to pay R 750 to AVIS as a petrol and other deposit, which I promptly paid in cash with the understanding that the refund will happen soon after the rental car was returned to AVIS. I returned the rental car in perfect condition with a full fueal tank on the 02/10/2013. It is now the 28/10/2013 and AVIS has not yet paid my refund. I enquired many times from Carsurance who in their last email said that AVIS confirmed with them that my refund was processed and paid and would be in my bank account by the 25th October 2013. Today is the 28/10/2013, and still no refund. I am quite frustrated and disappointed that I am being to by AVIS. I want my refund back as promised.
