I have been calling ABSA since morning to confirm a deposit into my account from another bank, which arrived on Friday last week. Does anybody even WORK at their call centre? What justifies waiting for 10 minutes, using up precious airtime, without a response? Should we be convinced that the Easter holiday, which happened LAST WEEK, has totally crippled ABSA's ability to respond to phone calls? Why not staff more people in anticipation for the "high volumes" that the holidays obviously provide? ABSA shouldn't promote its competitors like this.
