I had a double debit order made on my account. I called the call centre (0860 555 111) to have this rectified and refunded my money. I called 5 times, and I was transferred to Collections department but I would stay on the line for 20 minutes and no one picked up the phone and assisted me.
The 6th time around I decided to call the Nedbank number in which I receive calls from on a monthly basis to update details and remind me not to forget to pay my account. Again I was transferred to a consultant. I told the consultant my story and when I asked him for a direct number I can call instead of being transferred without getting any help, I told him I'm tired of calling and not being assisted. The consultant replied "If you are so tired then why do you keep calling us? "
Not only does Nedbank owe me money, but being ridiculed by a consultant like that is just not on, that is not how to speak to a customer, and the amount of money I spend calling them will not be reimbursed so that's also not right to keep calling with no help. All I want is my money back, and if there's someone who can help me to get my refund I can appreciate that.
