I put a claim in as advised to do so after reporting that my card got swallowed at an ATM. Now its been said that the bank holds me responsible for the transaction. I don't see how this can be. My card was swallowed and mins later my money was drawn. I am a single mother with a baby and depend on my salary. I work hard for my not, not for someone to come and just it. I have now taken matters further and have sent all details through to the ombudsman. I feel they have been unprofessional as well, sent numerous follow-ups and heard nothing. Made a call and it was brought to my attention that the claim was rejected the same day, I put the claim in. How much investigation was really done. I can't leave it like this... it was a lot of money. I have been a loyal client to FNB for many years. They looking at losing a client now!
