I went to ATM on the 30th of May 2013 to withdraw money, then the ATM swallowed my card, with a lack of knowledge I left the place Thinking i will go to the bank the following day to get a new card, but about 5 minutes after i left the ATM R4450 was withdrawn, then a minute later R380.98 was debited from my card. I reported the case which took the bank more than 15 days to get back to me regarding the claim. when i called the bank on the 24th of June the call centre agent informed me that i WONT be refunded since my card was swapped at the ATM and i stopped the card the following day. So I would like more investigation to done on this claim, since i had lack of knowledge on what can i do or which number to call in order to stop the card the same day. I still would like to bank with Standard Bank, but if this is the way they are going to treat me then they are making me think otherwise..
