My card was swallowed by the atm

My card was swallowed by the atm machine and I was standing infront of the atm. I received a message saying that R6800 was being taken out of the account. As I was reporting the matter over the phone money was being taken out of my account and Capitec said they would give a response within two days. After two days capitec phoned and said they won't bring my money back because I exposed my pin. I am the only one who knows my pin number I have never exposed my pin to anyone. The card got swallowed by the machine in Nyanga but according to the message notification a purchase of 6800 was made in Gugulethu Ny115. I really feel like this is unfair as I could not stop the card from being swallowed by the machine.
