DO NOT BANK WITH CAPITEC - Claims

Good Day.
Please assist where possible, as there is obviously something going on @ Capitec Bank, just looking @ the other posts on HelloPeter.
My mother wanted to do a transfer from a Standard Bank ATM in Strand Service Centre on the 2nd August, whilst standing @ the ATM the card was swallowed and obviously there was no way of getting the card back, within the next few seconds while waiting for some assistance @ the ATM, 9 transactions went off her account to the value of around R10, 100.00, seven transactions for airtime and more.
After eventually stopping the card (Which was too late in any case), she was advised to get a case number from the SAPS and provide this to Capitec Bank for investigation, whereby they later advised her that she took to long to stop the card and nothing can be done.. She was also advised to get hold of the Ombudsman, but this seems to be more like a game of tennis, back and forth the whole time.
Also, please explain to me what the difference would have been if the card was stopped within 2min afterwards or 15min afterwards as the account was cleared out within seconds from the card being swallowed.
Can someone please assist..!
