On the 9th January 2014 my Standard Bank cheque card got swallowed at the STD Bank ATM Wilrogate shopping centre in Roodepoort at exactly 14h06. I then contact Standard Bank to block my card at 14h07 and at 14h08 R1000.00 was drawn out of my account. I then put a claim through, a week later on Wednesday the 15th Jan I receive an email for an affidavit to be filled in, so I fill it in and send it off AND GOT A REPLY THAT THE AFFIDAVIT HAD BEEN RECEIVED AND IS CONFIRMED. Today I get a phone call from division to tell me that I have not yet sent the affidavit and shortly after an email with the same affidavit that I had previously sent, when I phoned the utterly rude, should I say gentleman? was telling me it is not received, BUT YET I8 GOT CONFIRMATION THAT IT WAS!!! We are now going on 10 days (2 weeks) after had been taken place and yet the incompetent people who work in the dept have come nowhere with my claim. I work to hard for my money for it to played around with like this. I am now told I will get a call next Tuesday in connection with my claim. That will then be 15 days. I would please like my money back so can change to another bank.
