Please note this query is for Absa I Direct Insurance. I called in the call centre on the 11.02.2013 after noticing that my monthly insurance premium is still R1300 after I claimed for my Ipad which was on 31 August 2012. This premium was still inclusive of the premium of R57, 32 for the item I no longer own. I spoke to a lady by the name of Surie, I explained to her that I have not replaced my Ipad and I am still being charged for the old Ipad since last year September so I request a refund of R286.60 to be paid in my account and the Ipad be removed from the policy and the updated policy schedule be sent to me after our conversation. She then asked if she can credit the amount unto the next debit of 27 February 2013;I declined that offer, she advised that the refund will be processed next friday, which I assumed it would be the 23 February 2013 and that I will only get the updated policy schedule once my refund has been processed. The 23rd February passed and then I assumed the amount of R286.60 will be credited unto my february premium as she initially offered but it wasn't. I was debited a premium of R1300 AGAIN. PLEASE REFUND MY R343.92 (Sept 2012 - Feb 2013).
