I have submitted an application to Standard bank home loans in the traderoute branch, and was told that their turn around time is five days for an answer of the appication, it took them two weeks... with my husband constantly following up and empty promises made, now after two weeks of still waiting a consultant calls me and says that our application has been declined due to one of their forms which has been filled in wrong, therefore reflecting that my expenses is more than my salary, but a consultant within the branch at homeloans has assisted us in completing this form, so how can a consultant not know how to fill in their own forms for submission??? now I am told to resubmit and try again, too wait another two weeks no thank you, I have now lost an offer on a house due to negligence, incompetance and pure laziness of standard bank staff.
