I went to Steeldale branch on 04/02/2013 around 9:30 am to submit my proof of adress as my credit card was blocked due to fica requirements. I was assisted by a lady who took all my documents and promised to send an email to Head Office and that my card will be unblocked within 48 hrs. It is now the 15th and my card is still inactive. I've tried 100th times to use it and everytime I get so embarrsed because it declines. I called the call centre on 14/02/2013 and spoke to Celiwe who asked me to fax the documents to her, I tried several times to fax to the number she gave me and I got no answer error message. I called the Steeldale branch on 15/02/2013 and spoke to Petronella who promised to help me but by end of the day I received no positive feedback from her. I am shocked to say the least on the service I am getting from African Bank- considering that I am a very valuable customer. I am always up to date with my payments and I also have other acoounts with african bank which I make sure they stay up to date. I want to know what happened to my documents that I submitted to African bank because there is a lot of going on in this country. Very bad service indeed
