Fnb shouldn't have advertising that state "we'll move mountains for you" when they can't even help with a simple problem! After sitting in the queue for 3hours, to take my proof of residence so that I can apply for a credit card (which firstly I dont know how they dont have my proof of residence as you need it to open an account), they told me they couldn't help me with only the copy of my lease agreement and that they need the original. After explaining to them that there is no way I can possibly get an original as the owner from whom im renting isn't in S.A., even the branch manager told me that they are unable to help me! I went to capitec and a normal consultant told me she could help me, I only need to certify the copy. So now I ask, how is it possible that a branch manager couldn't tell me this and help me with my query. So incompetent!
