ABSA Insurance Claims Incompetent

Do not, whatever you do, take out home insurance with ABSA.
My father has had a bond with them for 46 years and has been paying the insurance for 46 years, ironically ABSA never had an issue with the debit order system when collecitng his premium.
He submitted a claim in december and the assessor came out and took photos.
He didnt hear from them again. Upon enquiring he was told that ANNA DE BEER was dealing with his claim but in spiite of numberous unanswered calls and messages she never came back to him.

I then got hold of a call centre agent that assisted me and said that the assessor did not submit the photos that are required to complete the claim and that I must call the assessor, and he gave me a number. For two days the assessor did not answer and on the third day he eventually came back to me and said that ABSA are lying they do have the photos and I must go back to ABSA.

This is ridiculous!!! Again I call ABSA and I get passed form dept to dept looking for some assistance and no one is prepared to help. ABSA collect the premium it is up to them to deal with the third party contractors that they get to do the work.
ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!!
