I've applied for a cheque account and my bank card was sent to Frankfort branch. I went to the bank to collect it and where they've asked me for proof of residence. I then gave them my lease agreement and they refused to accept it. They say it is not part of their KYC (Know Your Customer) policy and process. I found that rather troubling since the FIC Act list a lease agreement as a proof of residence. I'm frustrated and disappointed with such a bad service.
