I have a personal loan with Nedbank which i have made arrangements to repay. I have been making the necessary repayments as arranged and in October i even paid them more than the payment arrangement an amount of R2500. My payment arrangement was for R700. I was unemployed for a month and recently started working in a commision earned job. I had a small amount that was paid out to me in pension before i left my old job that i kept in a investment account and that was funds for day to day expenses. i released some money into my bank account one day only to notice that Nedbank deducated R4500 off my bank account with no prior payment arrangement made for this amount. When i queried it i was advised by one of their quality assurance managers that Nedbanks policies are not in place to entertain their clients. i was very disturbed by this comment as she was a quality assurance manager and should have been more professional in her response. i persued the matter further to try and get a small refund as this funds like i said were for day to day living expenses and was told i would recieve a R2500 refund and 3 days later they changed their minds... the promise was not kept... dissapointed
