Can't change a simple address with Standard Bank

First off all, I've been a good SB customer: I'm a prestige banker, never had a bad credit record, I have a large investment with them. In order to do an overseas transfer, hey told me that my current address doesn't correspond with the one in their system and that I should update it: simple? Oh NO.
I already updated my address at the beginning of 2013, but for some reason SB didn't change it. Over the past 7 years I've updated my address at SB 6 times, but nothing happens and they keep on telling me it's my fault.
Today I was at the Hillcrest branch 4 times. I've been there from 9h00 - 14h00. They told me I need a proof of residence, so I fetched a letter from the company I'm renting from (utilities are paid through them). Suddenly they say their policy has changed and they don't accept these letters anymore (they didn't tell me the first time) apparently I need a lease agreement. I told the lady I'm staying with a roommate, she replied: no problem, just bring the lease agreement. After that they told me the agreement had to be in my name, not my roommate's. I told them I need to change my address today for the overseas transfer, but they simply ignore me and treat me like child.
